Academy Coach – Coombe Wood School

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced forward-thinking coach to work on Volenti Academy’s coaching programme based at the brand new Coombe Wood School football pathway. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a high standard of coaching for boys in years 7 -10 during the school day and after school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high standard of coaching to different age groups for our Academy sessions at Coombe Wood School
• Develop coaching practices in line with the vision, philosophy and curriculum
• Coaching of players in various year groups on Coombe Wood School’s football pathway
• Coaching Coombe Wood school teams for in-house and external fixtures
• Produce coaching curriculum and after school football programme
• Support the selection of Coombe Wood School teams for the relevant league, cup and friendly fixtures
• Promote the TREDS values of Coombe Wood School
• Develop and maintain a positive learning environment to maximise each player’s development potential
• Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to across all areas of the Academy including Health & Safety, Risk Assessment, Safeguarding
• Ensure the safeguarding, welfare and safety of all academy players
• Attend and support the delivery of in-house and external CPD courses
