U6 – U9 Free Trial

At Volenti Academy Croydon, we have re-defined the boundaries of what is possible outside the professional academy system. Led by former Crystal Palace player, Bobby Bowry, the Academy runs every Monday evening and is open to boys and girls aged between U6 and U9s.

At the U6-U9 age group, our coaches focus on individual skill development with each player having lots of touches of the ball and being challenged in small competitive match scenarios and conditioned games. We also work on their physical development, working on speed, agility and quickness (SAQ).

We understand that players are at different levels of their development, so we ensure that players are grouped accordingly and these groups are constantly monitored by our coaching staff.

We are independent of grassroots football, so players can continue to play and train at their clubs while with us. Due to our success of helping to develop over 70 players who have signed for professional club academies, we are often invited to play showcase fixtures against professional teams.
